With their father often absent due to work commitments, Madison and her brother Robbie found themselves under the care of their perpetually intoxicated mother, whose sadistic behavior and patterns of physical, mental, and sexual abuse endangered their well-being in her quest for attention.

Unbeknownst to them at the time, their mother suffered from Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy.

In spite of these traumatic experiences, the siblings recognized the necessity of remaining united, confronting the adversities of their upbringing, and exhibiting extraordinary resilience to navigate their way into adulthood.
